Position Overview

 

You’ll be the fundraising lead for up to 3 clients, managing their day-to-day fundraising. This requires fundraising strategic oversight (we'll help train you on that) as well as to execute on the all the small details that make our work stand-out.

 

You are a fundraising generalist who is eager to learn and has a passion for social justice and small nonprofits in Canada.

 

Your work will vary by client, but you will have the opportunity to implement all types of fundraising strategies. You will also be a relationship management superstar, making our clients feel amazing about work with us.

Contract Details

 

The Good Partnership is still in our start-up phase - but we’re growing! In the short-term, our operating budget is limited. As such, this is a 12-month, full-time contract position based on a $40,000 - $55,000 annual salary. We are a ROWE (Results Only Work Environment) organization, we manage to outcomes, not time spent at your desk.

We have a small health-benefits package after 3 months. We close for 2 weeks over the winter holidays and you have other time off as you need it. Flexible working hours and location. Our office is in downtown Toronto.

The Good Partnership is a small, but mighty, Toronto-based fundraising consultancy. What sets us apart is that we don’t just provide strategy and coaching for our charity clients, we actually implement the plans that we co-create. We’re not in the business of defining a fundraising strategy and walking away, rather we become our clients’ fundraising partner; writing donor updates, managing peer to peer campaigns, working with corporate partners on cause-marketing efforts, scheduling donor meetings, writing grants, coaching ED’s and board members through asks - anything fundraising related.

 

Instead of hiring a member of staff, our clients depend on us for all their fundraising goals. We build the strategy, develop the tactical plan, and most importantly, we implement that plan. From year-end mail outs, monthly giving campaigns, donor-centric cultivation events, and setting up automations and databases, we’ll do it all.

 

Still in the start-up phase of the business, we are looking for hard-working, ambitious staff members who want to get hands-on experience with meaningful coaching to build their careers, but who are okay with a bit of flexibility, ambiguity, and instability with work. We only have short-term contract positions available now, but our goal is to transition these to full-time and permanent positions.​
